CAMERA OBSCURA

Built in the 19th century Camera Obscura has been around for 150 years. It was only in 1945 that the original mirror and lens were replaced.

Using this you can project a panoramic view in amazing detail of Edinburgh

Camera Obscura also contains the largest display of holograms in Europe as well a fascinating exihbition of optical illusions and a exhibition of pin-hole photography and old photographs of Edinburgh.

There are excellent views of the city from the Outlook Tower.
