CRICHTON'S CLOSE

The current home of the Scottish Poetry Society housed in an award winning building is tucked away in this Canongate close, situated behind the New Parliament Building.

The library, which offers a huge collection of Scottish and International Poetry is free and open to the public.

The courtyard to this building is stage to many planned and impromptu readings during the festival.
