I was fortunate to be asked
to design blankets and embroidered labels for Number 10 Downing
Street and Sarah Brown's Charity Piggy Bank Kids. The fleece
blankets are made by Nippers, a designer childrenswear shop
in Edinburgh.
In 2004 Gordon & Sarah
Brown met the national press with their new baby son John,
who was wearing Nippers own label. This was fantastic publicity
as they were on the front page of every newspaper. Then in
2006 the Brown's had another son, James Fraser, who also met
the press wearing Nippers!
Sales of the Piggy Bank Kids
Blanket will raise funds for under privileged children and
The Jennifer Brown Trust which aides research into premature
births and life-theatening problems in pregnancy. These Blankets
