Ann (Annie) Farquharson has been painting seriously since leaving art college in 1999. She works in oil on canvas and normally on a large scale. Motivated by a desire to bring pleasure to the observer, she uses colour to represent warmth, joy and happiness.

Her work can often be seen in galleries in and around Edinburgh.
